Welcome to 'behavioral innovation'
For the past fifteen years I have dealt with innovations: On the one hand, in executive roles at high-tech ventures, including a genomics biotech firm which we built on a nobel-laureate's technology, a global data analytics firm which we successfully bootstrapped, and consulting work. On the other, as a researcher in leading management schools, adressing innovation challenges that I experience or observe.
If there is one thing I have found out - it is this: A better understanding of human behavior is the key to boosting innovation.
The behavioral approach has revolutionized economics, finance, etc - it is time to approach innovation management with a real-life view of human cognition, affect and behavior.
This site is intended for enabling conversations among whoever shares that interest - for joint research or advisory purposes. Again, welcome, to 'behavioral innovation'!

Innovation
advisory It is my conviction that good management research requires a deep understanding of management practice. At the same time, as Kant said so well, there's nothing as practical as a good theory. So, I enjoy mutual learning through select advisory projects and executive coaching. |
